Our farm

Three generations on the same river-bottom ground

Harvest Farm started with one acre of tomatoes and a card table at the Saturday market. We still sell at that same market, just with a lot more to bring.

How we grow

Good soil first, everything else follows

We farm the way our grandparents did, with a few hard-won lessons added in. We rotate our beds, plant cover crops every winter, and feed the ground with compost from our own animals instead of bags of synthetic fertilizer. Healthy soil grows food that tastes like something and keeps the river clean, so we treat it like the asset it is.

Nothing in your box travels far, because almost all of it never leaves the farm until it is yours. We pick to order, pack the same morning, and hand it to you within a day. When a crop has a rough season, we tell you straight instead of trucking in a stand-in. That honesty is the whole point of knowing your farmer.
